FEBRUARY 2014  Sydney Airport's 20 year Master Plan has been approved by the Federal Government.

The Master Plan is designed to meet the forecast demand of 74 million passengers annually by 2033 - that's more than double the current annual number of passengers.

The Plan includes shared domestic and international terminals and ground transport improvements - and has been designed to improve the efficiency and safety of the Airport.

Innovative ground transport solutions have been designed in collaboration with the NSW Government that will significantly improve access to the Airport and road traffic flow around it.

While some ground work has already started, it will be in full swing shortly and should be completed by 2018.
