An estimated 20,000 serving and ex-service personnel took part in the ANZAC Day march through the Sydney CBD, supported by thousands of people who lined the streets.

The Sydney Metropolitan Taxi Networks collected veterans from their homes on the day, escorted them into the city, provided breakfast and took them on the march before bringing them safely home. Leading the parade was RSL Cabs with their classic vintage Plymouth vehicles.

It was a truly memorable occasion with a wonderful sense community spirit in the air.

Thank you to everyone in the taxi industry who offered their time and assistance to help the diggers and war widows receive the acknowledgement they deserve.
